The Philip Yeo Initiative (PYI) is a ground-up movement administered by NUS, to create an organised platform for Mr Philip Yeo to develop people and talent. There are ~50 changemakers in our community and we are constantly on the lookout for other entrepreneurs who make a difference.
The social media strategy takes a community-building approach. In the first 6 months, I was able to increase the page's reach by 70% and likes by 25% by implementing episodic content and posting more frequently. I also restructured the content calendar and introduced content that would benefit talents such as:
• Articles to improve one's entrepreneurial mindset
• Achievements from the PYI Community
• Thought-provoking quotes
• Thoughtful reminders
• Wise words from successful entrepreneurs
I also grew the organisation's Instagram and LinkedIn pages to reach 200 followers in 3 months. Instagram adopts a similar content strategy while LinkedIn is kept more professional to connect with the community only.
I am constantly on the hunt for innovative ways to increase reach and engagement on social media.
